BeEST 2026 Implantation Detector Stack

Implantation of 7Be in low threshold HVeV detectors allows us to probe nuclear physics in the EC decay by measuring the nuclear recoil of the daughter. We implant the detectors at TRIUMF's rare isotope beam facility, and operate them at SMF at SLAC.

This work is complementary, and in collaboration with the BeEST Experiment

SMF and detector technology provided by the DMQIS Group
