Brian Lenardo

Panofsky Fellow / Staff Scientist

Brian L. joined SLAC as a Panofsky Fellow in 2022 after a postdoc in Giorgio Gratta's group at Stanford. His background is in the development of liquid xenon detectors to search for new physics; he is a member of the nEXO, LZ, and XLZD collaborations.  His primary interest is in developing next-generation liquid xenon detectors to search for neutrinoless double beta decay in the isotope 136Xe.

Recently he has also begun working with superconducting detectors for precision neutrino physics measurements as part of the BeEST collaboration and in collaboration with the DMQIS group at SLAC.
